Day 4 after plastic surgery of the breast
Still uncomfortable but able to move my arms around a little, I
started to have some hope for the end to the stiffness. It is very important after a few
days to start moving a little to prevent stiffness.
Day Four was a Saturday and my biggest fear was how I would handle
Monday when my husband went back to work. My mother was away on vacation and my sister
works full time too. Also, I didn't tell my two sisters-in-law and couldn't really ask
them for help.
My husband took my son to a birthday party and left me home with my
daughter. I didn't physically have the strength to lift her so my friend came over to help
me. She also came over to see my implants because she has been my friend for almost 20
years and her curiosity and support were both expected. She has a big chest and was
shocked to see how big my breasts were. I was still taking my painkillers but getting sick
of them because they make you constipated and also make you feel a little wired. I don't
think I went to the bathroom for at least 4 days.
Post-surgery recovery - Day 5
Sunday: Same as Day 4 but my nipples were really sore because I had
to keep this big bra thing on without an underwire at all times. I think my nipples
were still sore because they were basically erect since the surgery. I think this was so
due to the swelling.
One thing that I liked already at this point, because my skin had
been stretched to fit the implants, is that I couldn't really notice the two scars that I
had from when I was younger. My biggest problem was that everyone expected me to be better
by now and I still had to take it slow.
