Second week of breast augmentation recovery for
Nicole
After breast enlargement surgery - Day 7
Tuesday: My husband went back to work. My mom was still away... and
I managed. I really think having to take care of the kids started to give me some relief
from stiffness and forced me to recover a little faster by making me move when I otherwise
probably would not have. At this point, I really felt 100 times better than when I first
got home from surgery.
Sleeping was still very difficult at this point but I was able to
get back into some of my usual routine. I didn't wear the "medical" bra last
night. I wore my own sports bra (soft with no underwire) and this helped a lot.
When I woke up in the morning, my breasts seemed really firm and a
little sore. Up to this point, it really hurt to have them unsupported. I couldn't really
not wear a bra even if I wanted to because my muscles ached so much and they feel very
heavy at first. I would only take my bra off in the shower and put it back on when I came
out. Oh, and when my sister or husband wanted to see them.
Post augmentation - Days 8-12
About the same. I am starting to shop for bras and still shocked
that they are more like a D rather than the C cup that I requested. The thing is they
stick straight out and are very firm. From the side, they look like Pamela Lee's breasts
(before her removal and replacement with smaller implants). Apparently, I was fitted with
breast implants of 425 cc's, which scared me a little at this point. My one cousin had 475
cc's and she was really scared hers were too big.
